Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using REST Assured.
• Create reusable automation components and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-9 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java programming.
• Extensive experience in Selenium WebDriver automation.
• Strong experience in REST Assured for API testing.
• Experience in creating automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit.
• Good understanding of API testing concepts, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
• Good knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
