Automation Test Engineer

EXP: 2 TO 10 YEARS

Location: Pan India

Skills: Automation Testing, Java or Python or c#, selenium and Playwright

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for web and API applications.
• Create robust and reusable automated test scripts using Java, C#, and Python.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites.
• Implement the Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, Hybrid, and BDD frameworks.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, defect reports, and automation metrics.
• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, and/or Python.
• Experience with automation frameworks using:
• TestNG / JUnit (Java)
• NUnit (C#)
• PyTest (Python)
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Expertise in framework development using:
• Page Object Model (POM)
• Data-Driven Framework
• Hybrid Framework
• BDD Framework (Cucumber/SpecFlow)
• Experience with source control tools such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and MSBuild.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.

API Testing Skills

• Strong experience in API Testing using:
• Postman
• Rest Assured (Java)
• Python Requests Library
• Understanding of REST API concepts, JSON, XML, and Swagger/OpenAPI.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Experience integrating automation suites with:
• Jenkins
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobile automation using Appium.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution.
• ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
