Automation Test Engineer

EXP: 2 TO 10 Years

Location: Pan India

Skills: Automation Testing, Java or Python or C#, Selenium and playwright

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint activities.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

• 3 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong Automation Testing expertise.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in Java/Python/C#.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit/NUnit/PyTest frameworks.
• Experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of API Automation Testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Understanding of Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps CI-CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Mobile automation testing experience using Appium
