Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts.
• Automate web, API, and backend application testing.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case reviews.
• Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python/C#.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit/NUnit frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience in Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobile automation using Appium.
• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience working in DevOps environments.
