Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled C# Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for our web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright, and is comfortable working in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
• Build and enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks (Page Object Model / BDD, etc.)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
• Perform API automation testing using RestSharp (or similar tools) good to have
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test scenarios and edge cases
• Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects clearly
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and regression suite optimization
• Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of test coverage

Required Skills :

• Strong programming experience in C#
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver
• Practical experience with Playwright for web automation
• Solid understanding of OOPs concepts, design patterns, and automation framework design
• Experience with NUnit / MSTest / xUnit for test execution and assertions
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies

Good to Have:

• Experience with RestSharp for REST API automation
• Exposure to Postman for API testing
• Knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation
• Experience with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow / Reqnroll)
• Cloud-based test execution (BrowserStack / Sauce Labs / LambdaTest)
