Job Title: QA Automation Engineer - Playwright & API Automation

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation and API Testing/Automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks, validating REST APIs, and ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain reusable test libraries and utilities.
• Validate API responses, request payloads, and integration workflows.
• Execute end-to-end, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality improvements.

Mandatory Skills

• 4-6 years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Automation.
• Expertise in API Testing & API Automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of automation framework design and testing best practices

Preferred Skills

• SQL and Database Validation.
• Microservices Testing.
• BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
