Automation Test Engineer (Java + Selenium)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, CI/CD, and Automation Framework Development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating them into DevOps pipelines to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain Selenium automation frameworks using Java.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Design scalable frameworks using Page Object Model (POM).
• Integrate automation suites with Jenkins/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
• Perform API automation using REST Assured/Postman.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Generate automation reports and maintain test documentation.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

• 3-9 years of relevant Automation Testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in automation framework development using TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD, and POM.
• Strong CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Good experience in API Testing (REST Assured/Postman).
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Exposure to Selenium Grid, Docker, and DevOps practices is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and SQL.
• Senior candidates should be capable of mentoring team members and driving automation best practices.
