Automation Test Engineer (Java + Selenium)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Test Automation Frameworks, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and ensuring the quality of enterprise web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Develop framework components using TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, and POM.
• Integrate automation suites with Jenkins/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Execute API testing using Postman and/or REST Assured.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release activities.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3-9 years of relevant Automation Testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in automation framework development using TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD, and POM.
• Strong CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Good experience in API Testing (REST Assured/Postman).
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Exposure to Selenium Grid, Docker, and DevOps practices is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and SQL.
• Senior candidates should be capable of mentoring team members and driving automation best practices.
