Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in test automation, with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of automation frameworks, API testing, and software testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Create and execute UI automation test cases for web applications.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test suites.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Good programming experience in TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of UI automation and web application testing.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Good debugging and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with API testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with test reporting and automation dashboards.

Candidate Requirements

• Only Bangalore-based candidates will be considered.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in a hybrid model with 3 days WFO.
• Candidate should be available for a Face-to-Face interview in Bangalore.
• Candidates who can join on or before 15 September 2026 are preferred.
