About this role
As an Automation Tester - SDET, you will be a key contributor to our software quality assurance efforts. Your expertise in automated testing will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and performance of our web-based and API-based applications. Working closely with development teams, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our software meets the highest standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in C# programming language for test automation.
- Experience in testing web-based and API-based applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with banking and credit card platforms is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing frameworks.
- Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts using C# for web and API testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test plans.
- Execute automated tests to identify and report issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to adapt to changing project needs.
- Perform manual testing when necessary to validate specific scenarios or edge cases.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to development teams on test results and identified issues.
- Ensure test coverage for all critical areas of the software, including functionality, performance, and security.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure a seamless testing process and maintain high-quality standards.
