Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile testing.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case reviews.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.
• Strong knowledge of Web UI Automation and API Testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Groovy/Java, and Test Automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and Web Services testing.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Mobile Automation testing.
• Banking, Finance, or Insurance domain experience is an added advantage.
