Automation Engineer (expertise in both manual and automation testing)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing within Agile/Scrum teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure built-in quality
• Collaborate with scrum teams on test planning, execution, and demos alongside verification leads
• Conduct functional, performance, load, and reliability testing to validate software robustness
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and BDD frameworks
• Document test plans, protocols, and reports to ensure validation and compliance standards are met
• Troubleshoot and triage issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely resolution
• Maintain traceability of requirements to guarantee comprehensive test coverage
• Work with version control and test management tools such as GitHub, ADS, ClearQuest, and Windchill
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks
• Preferred: Gain experience with cloud-based testing environments
