Automation Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing for web and enterprise applications.
• Design and implement API automation frameworks using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Validate application data through SQL and MongoDB database testing.
• Integrate automation suites with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect tracking documentation.
• Track, analyze, and report defects using JIRA and Zephyr.
• Perform performance testing and analyze application stability and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Support release validation, smoke testing, and production deployment activities.
• Provide regular test status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders.
