Role Description The AutoCAD Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting design and drafting activities for training projects and real-world case studies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating architectural and construction drawings in AutoCAD under the guidance of senior team members. The intern will assist with space planning layouts, converting conceptual sketches into detailed technical drawings, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across project documentation. The role may also involve collaborating with instructors, providing clear visual diagrams for training materials, and communicating progress and challenges to the project team.
Qualifications

• Ability to work with Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
• Strong Drawing skills, including attention to detail and precision in technical drafting.
• Knowledge of Space Planning concepts and the ability to translate requirements into functional layouts.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating remotely with mentors, trainers, and project stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of architecture, civil engineering, or interior design principles (coursework or projects preferred).
• Comfort with online tools and remote collaboration platforms for file sharing and feedback.
• Current undergraduate student or recent graduate in architecture, engineering, design, or related field.
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and improve CAD and design skills in a fast-paced training environment.
