AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman

Job Summary

• Client co. looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman with 3-4 years of experience in preparing engineering drawings, 2D drafting, and technical documentation.
• The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• - Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• - Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications.
• - Prepare detailed component drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• - Revise drawings as per design changes and production requirements.
• - Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• - Maintain drawing records and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• - AutoCAD: Good working knowledge with 3-4 years of hands-on experience.
• - Ability to read and understand engineering and manufacturing drawings.
• - Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and technical drafting standards.
• - Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• - CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) knowledge will be an added advantage.
• - Familiarity with CNC machining and manufacturing processes is desirable.

Qualification

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / relevant technical qualification preferred.
