AUTO CAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and assembly drawings.
• Modify drawings based on engineering or customer requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure dimensions, tolerances, materials, and specifications are correctly shown.
• Coordinate with Design/Engineering, Production, Quality, and Projects departments.
• Maintain and update drawing records and revisions.
• Prepare drawings and documentation for production and installation.
• Check drawings for accuracy before issuing them for manufacturing.
• Follow company drafting standards and safety/quality requirements.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; 3D knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering/technical drawings.
• Knowledge of aluminium profiles, fabrication, extrusion, or structural components is preferred.
• Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and basic engineering concepts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/ITI/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman/Designer in the aluminium, fabrication, extrusion, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
