Australian Corporate Financial Accountant - Int'l KPO- Noida & GGN

Job Summary:-We are seeking an experienced Corporate Financial Accountant with exposure to Australian accounting, taxation, and compliance processes. The role will be responsible for managing financial reporting, month-end close, accounts payable, banking, reconciliations, GST compliance, BAS/IAS reporting, audit support, and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Australian finance processes, and proficiency in cloud accounting systems such as Xero. Experience working with Australian clients or entities will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review Profit & Loss statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare management reports and assist with budgeting activities.

Australian Tax & Compliance

• Manage GST coding, GST reconciliation, and GST returns.
• Prepare and review BAS (Business Activity Statements) and IAS (Instalment Activity Statements).
• Support Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Accounts Payable & Treasury

• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Manage banking transactions and daily reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
• Administer corporate credit cards and banking platforms.

Audit & Year-End Activities

• Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders during statutory audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support year-end financial statements and compliance requirements.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Act as a key user for Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in AP and financial accounting processes.
• Support system implementations and finance transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Accounting.
• Experience supporting Australian accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of GST, BAS, IAS, FBT, AP, AR, General Ledger, and Month-End Close.
• Hands-on experience with Xero or other cloud accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating audits and statutory compliance activities.

Preferred

• Experience working with Australian clients, CPA firms, or shared service environments.
• CA / CPA qualified or pursuing.
• Knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance regulations.
