Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for Australian clients.
• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and review BAS, GST and IAS.
• Assist with Australian tax returns and compliance requirements.
• Prepare month-end and year-end accounts and financial statements.
• Handle month-end adjustments, accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
• Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for Australian clients.
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies or accounting issues.
• Communicate directly with Australian clients and respond to accounting queries.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Support senior accountants and managers with complex accounting and client assignments.
