Auditor- Internal Audit (GB)

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based audits of branch operations, liabilities, assets, cash management, and customer service processes.
• Review compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, SOPs, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory norms.
• Verify operational controls, account opening processes, transaction monitoring, cash retention limits, and documentation standards.
• Identify control weaknesses, audit observations, and recommend corrective actions for process improvement.
• Track closure of audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare audit reports, maintain working papers, and present findings to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• experience in Internal Audit, Branch Audit, Operations Audit, or Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of Branch Banking, Deposits, Assets, KYC/AML, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Risk.
• Knowledge of RBI regulations, internal controls, fraud prevention, and audit methodologies.
• Good analytical, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
