Audit Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Executive to handle audit, taxation, compliance, and accounting-related activities. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Taxation, GST, and TDS and should be capable of independently handling audit assignments and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Statutory Audits and assist in the preparation and review of audit working papers.
• Perform Internal Audits, identify process gaps, and report control weaknesses.
• Handle tax-related activities, including basic direct and indirect tax compliance.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile GST returns and GST-related records.
• Handle TDS calculations, reconciliations, returns, and compliance requirements.
• Verify books of accounts, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients/internal teams for required documents and clarifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit evidence.
• Support senior team members in completing audits and compliance assignments within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CA Inter any one group passed, or B.Com / M.Com.
• 3 years of Articleship experience OR minimum 2 years of relevant audit experience.
• Practical experience in:
• Statutory Audit
• Internal Audit
• Taxation
• GST
• TDS
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software is preferred.
