Audit Assistant

Role & responsibilities

To assist in conducting internal audits, reviewing financial and operational records, verifying compliance with internal policies, and identifying gaps in processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal audits of clients across various industries.
• Verify financial records, invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
• Check compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Review internal controls, accounting processes, and operational activities.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, and control weaknesses during audit assignments.
• Prepare audit working papers, observations, and reports.
• Coordinate with client teams to obtain audit documents and clarifications.
• Follow up on audit observations and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments as per the audit plan.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates pursuing CA or other relevant professional qualifications may also apply.

Experience

• Freshers or candidates with 3 years of experience in internal audit or finance.
• Experience in an audit or CA firm will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
