Job Overview
We are seeking high-merit, detail-oriented B.Com graduates to join our professional accounting and audit support team. As an Accounts & Audit Assistant, you will work closely with senior auditors and partners to execute day-to-day corporate compliance, book-keeping, and statutory audit support for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires sound theoretical accounting knowledge backed by strong execution skills in Tally and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain accurate corporate ledgers, process purchase/sale invoices, and passing journal entries in Tally Prime.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and clear discrepancies in client accounts.
- Audit Documentation: Assist the audit team with vouching, verification of internal source documents, and preparing audit working papers.
- Taxation Compliance: Compile data and draft preliminary summaries for GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B reconciliation with GSTR-2B) and Income Tax returns.
- Data Management: Organize, clean, and analyze client financial data using Microsoft Excel to generate structural MIS reports.
Required Candidate Profile
- Education: Fresh B.Com graduate (Regular/Honours/Computer Applications) with a minimum of 75% or 7.5 CGPA equivalent.
- Technical Software Skills: Hands-on structural training certificate in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
- Excel Capabilities: Must be highly proficient in functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and Data Validation.
- Core Traits: Exceptional logical reasoning, numeric accuracy, strong business writing, and structural organization.
