Attending Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Manage acute and life-threatening pediatric emergencies in the emergency room or ward.
• Attend high-risk deliveries or perform immediate newborn resuscitation in the labor room/NICU when required.
• Conduct round-the-clock ward rounds to monitor the clinical progress of admitted young patients.
• Review vital signs, adjust treatment plans, and write necessary medication or intravenous fluid orders.
• Respond immediately to nurse calls or sudden clinical deteriorations of inpatients.
