- Financial Closing, Reporting & Compliance
- Manage monthly closing of SAP FI & CO modules
- Handle inventory closing (E&O, FIFO, valuation) and production order settlement & reclassification
- Address group reporting queries
- Support statutory and cost audits (schedules, financials, FAR) and perform break-even analysis)
- Inventory & Operations Finance Management
- Control perpetual inventory and support physical verification
- Conduct inventory ageing analysis
- Support new inventory transactions in SAP
- Provide cost inputs for operational cost-saving initiatives
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Costing
- Coordinate annual planning and P&L preparation
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting submissions
- Manage standard costing, activity rates, surcharge rates, and inventory master data
- Execute annual standard cost runs and maintain costing for new/existing materials
- Prepare model-wise costing sheets
- SAP, Costing & Process Improvements
- Resolve costing-related SAP/system issues
- Support product costing changes (including procurement scenarios)
- Drive initiatives like inventory automation and costing improvements
- Cross-Functional & Treasury Support
- Support internal teams with financial and SAP costing-related queries
- Assist procurement in ensuring standard cost accuracy
- Handle material creation and cost updates in SAP
- Review BG, LC, and payment files and support treasury controls
- Specialized skills:
- Good knowledge of Accounting and SAP
- Understanding of Indian tax structure (Direct & Indirect taxes) with knowledge of tax compliances
- Should understand and be able to perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Should have faced internal and external audits and be able to understand the SOX compliance requirements
- Should understand and be able to perform costing activities
