Asst. Manager - Payroll

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within the defined timeline for all employees.
• Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll inputs before salary processing.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including salary structures, bank details, deductions, and statutory information.
• Prepare monthly salary sheets, payroll reports, salary registers, and other management reports.
• Process and verify statutory deductions and compliance relating to:
• Provident Fund (PF)
• Employee State Insurance (ESI)
• Professional Tax (PT)
• Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), wherever applicable
• TDS and other applicable statutory deductionsRole & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of payroll processing and salary structures.
• Knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Good command of MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines, particularly during monthly payroll closure.
