We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager - Onsite IT Operations to manage onsite IT infrastructure, end-user support, network operations, IT assets, vendors, and infrastructure availability. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the IT interface for business requirements and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to fulfil IT needs.
• Provide onsite support for laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV, Dell servers, Cisco devices, firewalls, access systems, and other IT hardware.
• Ensure timely incident resolution in coordination with Service Desk and technical teams.
• Manage IT assets including deployment, maintenance, stock control, health checks, and physical audits.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, cabling, AMC, and infrastructure activities.
• Maintain IT/server rooms, including backup, equipment checks, and safety and security compliance.
• Ensure availability and performance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks.
• Manage SD-WAN, firewalls, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Veeam backups.
• Coordinate with AWS/Azure vendors for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Execute hardware, software, and network upgrades, installations, and relocations.
• Troubleshoot IT systems, networks, and applications in coordination with COE teams and vendors.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows, LAN, SUSE/Dell Servers, and Telecom systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, IT security, SD-WAN, VMware, and vCenter.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco switches/routers and Fortinet firewalls.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Aruba Controllers/Access Points.
• Experience in Veeam Backup; SAP DR knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Strong vendor and relationship management skills.
• Excellent user relationship, communication, coordination, and execution skills.

BE / B.Tech or relevant degree
