About this role
- Pass accounting entries for transactions.
- Perform daily reconciliation of General Ledger (GL) accounts related to trade and payment operations.
- Monitor and reconcile suspense, nostro/vostro, and settlement accounts.
- Ensure accurate accounting of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), Bills for Collection, remittances, and other trade-related transactions.
- Prepare and review accounting schedules, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial reports for management.
- Coordinate with Operations, Treasury, Finance, and Internal Audit teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and internal policies.
- Support statutory, internal, and concurrent audits by providing required information and documentation.
