Asst. Manager - Finance & Accounts (Marketing Finance)

Role & responsibilities

• Identify discrepancies and verify selling prices against approved management pricing, schemes, discounts, taxes, freight, and other applicable commercial terms.

• Checking invoices against approved price cards, pricing, schemes, and management approvals before processing on Daily Basis.

• Process and verify dealer rebates, incentives, and discounts within the stipulated timelines and as per approved terms.

• Post dealer collections against bank receipts in dealer accounts on a daily basis.

• Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing teams to identify and resolve unidentified dealer collections and other discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with E-Invoice, GST, and other applicable statutory requirements.

• Process sales returns only against proper authorization and complete supporting documentation.

• Reconcile sales returns with inventory/warehouse records, wherever applicable.

• Process approved sales returns and Debit/Credit notes within the defined timelines.

• Track actual expenses against the approved budget and identify and report significant variances.

• Prepare and circulate accurate and timely MIS reports as required by management.

• Prepare and review dealer-wise profitability/contribution reports, wherever required.

• Review dealer outstanding balances and share regular reports with the Sales Team for collection follow-up.

• Perform dealer reconciliation and resolve differences related to invoices, collections, credit notes, outstanding balances, and other ledger items.

• Ensure proper documentation and maintain an audit-ready record of all commercial transactions and approvals.
