Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager - Procurement

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing of Raw Material (Direct) Engineering Procurement (Indirect), Capex and General Consumables
• Procurement of Process Equipments, machineries, Spare Management from Domestic & overseas, OEM vendors.
• Establishing long term contract by analyzing market trend, Global situation, consumption patterns, Price indexing.
• Procurement of spares parts through MRP Process, analyzing safety stock, re-order levels etc.
• Follow up with suppliers / Transporters for timely delivery of Incoming material.
• Handling Import shipments, Freight Forwarding & Custom clearance.
• Conversant with taxation/ GST, custom formalities, e-tender, e-auction, reverse auction.
• Insurance claim in case of loss of goods
• Strong understanding of procurement systems and compliances.
• Should be conversant with SAP MM Module.
• Establish and develop Strong working relationships between organization and suppliers.
• Meeting Management targets

Preferred candidate profile

• B tech (Mech/ Elect/ Inst/Chem or allied) with minimum 3-6 years of experience
• Person should be efficient in all key area of Procurement. Must have worked at grass root level.
• Must have experience in SAP.
• Should have worked in company of repute.
• Strong analytical & Data Management skills.
• Efficient in working in MS Word, Excel , power-point & MIS presentations.
• Good communication, Team building and communication skills.
• Potential to accept challenges.
