Qualification: Bachelors/Masters degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in hospital operations, preferably with significant experience in IP Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IP operations, including admission, transfer, discharge, and bed allocation processes.
• Monitor and improve patient flow and bed occupancy to ensure efficient utilization of hospital resources.
• Coordinate with Doctors, Nursing, Billing, Insurance/TPA, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Housekeeping, and other departments for smooth patient services.
• Ensure timely completion of admission and discharge procedures.
• Monitor patient and attendant concerns and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
• Supervise and guide the IP Operations team and ensure effective manpower utilization.
• Monitor discharge turnaround time (TAT) and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, policies, quality standards, and NABH requirements.
• Coordinate with clinical departments regarding patient transfers, room/bed requirements, and operational issues.
• Monitor daily IP operational reports, occupancy, admissions, discharges, transfers, and other key performance indicators.
• Handle escalated patient/attendant concerns and ensure appropriate resolution.
• Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain effective communication with HODs and hospital management regarding IP operational activities.
• Support audits, quality initiatives, accreditation requirements, and hospital process improvements.
