Asst Engineer - Mechanical Maintenance

Position: Assistant Engineer Mechanical Maintenance
Experience: 4–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical
Industry: Automotive / Die Casting / Foundry

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
• Maintain HPDC / die-casting machines, furnaces, trimming presses and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Monitor and improve equipment uptime, MTTR and MTBF.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, checklists and breakdown reports.
• Maintain critical spares and coordinate with vendors for maintenance requirements.
• Support TPM, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to minimize machine downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.
