Associate Vice President Sales

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented South Head – Telesales Operations to lead end-to-end call center operations across four centers in South India. Based in Hyderabad, the incumbent will drive regional sales performance, revenue growth, operational efficiency, workforce productivity and overall business delivery. The ideal candidate will bring multi-location leadership experience, knowledge of South Indian markets and fluency in Telugu.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional & Call Center Operations

Lead complete telesales operations across four centers in South India.

Oversee Center Heads, Operations Managers and large telesales teams.

Ensure effective day-to-day operations, productivity and process efficiency.

Standardize operating procedures, governance and performance management across locations.

Sales & Revenue Management

Own regional revenue targets, sales performance and business growth.

Improve conversion rates, lead utilization, sales productivity and operational efficiency.

Monitor center-wise KPIs, identify gaps and implement performance improvement plans.

People & Leadership Management

Lead and develop senior operations leaders and telesales teams.

Drive workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management and retention.

Partner with HR, Training and Quality teams to build operational capabilities.

Operational Excellence

Track conversion, average handling time (AHT), occupancy, shrinkage, attrition and quality.

Ensure compliance with business processes and customer experience standards.

Drive process improvements, cost optimization and operational scalability.

Strategy & Stakeholder Management

Partner with senior leadership on regional business planning and execution.

Coordinate with Sales, HR, Quality, Training and Technology stakeholders.

Lead performance reviews, MIS reporting, capacity planning and expansion initiatives.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

Graduate or postgraduate

12–18+ years in telesales, inside sales or contact center operations.

Proven experience managing multiple call centers and large-scale sales operations.

Strong exposure to South Indian markets and regional customer segments.

Fluent in Telugu (mandatory); proficiency in Tamil, Kannada and/or Malayalam preferred.

Strong knowledge of revenue management, sales conversion, workforce planning and operational excellence.

Excellent people leadership, analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills.

Willing to travel to all four South India centers as required.

MANDATORY SCREENING CRITERIA

Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate.

Fluent in Telugu.

Experience leading multi-location telesales or contact center operations.

Proven leadership of large teams and senior operations managers.

Strong understanding of South Indian markets and regional business operations.
