Role: Associate Vice President - Finance & Accounts (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Monitor key business and financial metrics, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in strategic planning and business performance reviews.

Financial & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
• Develop and enhance management reporting dashboards and MIS reports.
• Present financial analysis and business insights through impactful presentations.

Accounting & Controllership

• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting records.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance processes.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business leaders to understand financial implications of operational decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial processes.
• Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, or Controllership functions.
• Prior experience in the Insurance industry is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial planning, reporting, and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in managing senior leadership reporting and board-level presentations.
