Associate (Valuations)

• Working with the U.S. business valuation teams engaged in the valuation of business enterprises, equity interests, financial instruments and intangible assets for regulatory, financial and tax purposes
• Working on building financial models, analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research etc
• Working on valuation products (ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 820 and ASC 718 / IRC 409A etc.) along with seniors in the U.S. and INDUS
• Interacting with managers / seniors in the U.S. and INDUS

Skills

• Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance concepts
• Working knowledge of valuation methodologies such as income approach, market approach and cost approach
• Working knowledge of ASC 350, ASC 805, ASC 718 / IRC 409A , and ASC 820 is a plus point
• Capability to handle pressure and working with deadlines
• Strong communication (both verbal & written) skills

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• Experience of 0-2 years in business valuation/finance
• Masters degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
• Certification/license or progress towards CPA or CFA is a plus point
• Accounting, finance, and economics knowledge; proficiency in US GAAP preferred
