Associate - Valuation and Financial Analysis

Role & responsibilities

Identify and select relevant public-company comparables based on business model, industry, size, geography
Perform valuation analyses for new investments, existing portfolio companies, add-on acquisitions, divestitures
Assess
enterprise value, equity value, net debt, capital structure, and ownership positions.Analyze valuation movements across reporting periods and identify key value-creation or value-destruction dri
Prepare valuation materials for investment committees, valuation committees, auditors, lenders, and senior man
Analyze reported EBITDA and identify appropriate adjustments for valuation and
transaction purposes.Distinguish between sustainable, recurring EBITDA and adjustments that may not be supportable.
Reconcile management-adjusted EBITDA to reported EBITDA and ensure consistency with transaction documen
Support quality-of-earnings analyses and coordinate with third-party accounting and diligence advisors.
Prepare
trading comparable company tables and valuation range analyses.Evaluate the relevance and limitations of selected comparables.
Monitor market multiples and industry valuation trends.
Research and analyze mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and other relevant transactions.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Approximately
2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation Strong knowledge of financial statements, enterprise value, equity value, and valuation methodologies.
Demonstrated
experience with:EBITDA normalization and adjustments
Comparable company analysis
Precedent transaction analysis
Mark-to-market or fair-value analysis
Financial modeling and sensitivity analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capabilities.
Excellent
analytical, research, writing, and presentation skills.Ability to interpret complex financial and operational information.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
