Associate Test Developer - Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Assist Project Leads to analyse requirements, create test cases, and execute tests with tools and techniques for functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing and compatibility testing   
• Identify issues in web features, log defects, and communicate findings to QA Leads, developers, and the project team.
• Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.  
• Develop an understanding of the functional, usability and performance requirements for the product features being tested.  
• Report bugs, verify fixes, and report test results.  
• Work with development team to reproduce and resolve bugs.  
• Escalate issues when necessary.
• Improve quality process.  

Preferred candidate profile

Must Have Skills

• Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
• Expertise in Testing Concepts
• Good communication
• Exposure in any one Bug tracking tool   
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in Playwright Automation using JavaScript
• Expertise in at least one programming language - Java/JavaScript  
• Expertise in any framework like TestNG, Junit, etc
• Exposure in API Testing (using Postman & Rest Assured).
• Basics of JMeter.
• Exposure in any one of Bug tracking tool [Jira, Bugzilla)
• Any software testing related course is mandatory
