Associate Team Lead-QC-Insurance & Data Management

Role Overview:

This role is part of our long-term capability-building initiative under Quality team. Selected candidates will undergo structured training and mentorship to prepare them for QAs roles and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end quality audits of insurance & backend data transactions to ensure compliance with internal/external standards and regulatory guidelines
• Review documentation accuracy, completeness, and adherence to underwriting and claims protocols
• Identify process gaps, errors, and compliance risks, and provide actionable feedback to operations teams
• Monitor and evaluate agent/processor performance against defined quality benchmarks and SLAs
• Maintain detailed audit reports, scorecards, and dashboards for management review.
• Collaborate with operations teams to drive continuous improvement and error reduction initiatives
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, data privacy norms, and company policies.
• Participate in calibration sessions and update audit checklists based on process or regulatory changes
• Prepare, update & validate SOPs
• Supervise & coach interns & new employees

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in the related domain
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes such as underwriting, policy servicing, and claims management
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance standards
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and audit documentation practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Certifications in Quality (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, COPC) or Insurance are an added advantage

Performance & Conduct:

• Consistent performance rating of “Meets Expectations” or above (minimum 8 times in last 12 months)
• No active disciplinary actions
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability in current role
