Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Relationship Manager role based in Chandigarh, India. The Associate Relationship Manager will manage and deepen customer relationships by serving as a primary contact for retail and small business clients, handling account-related queries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The role involves sourcing and onboarding new customers, cross-selling banking products such as deposits, loans, and other financial services, and supporting customers with documentation and transactional needs. The individual will monitor customer portfolios, follow up on repayments, and support risk and compliance requirements in line with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. The Associate Relationship Manager will collaborate with branch teams to meet business targets and contribute to customer retention and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to provide proactive, service-oriented support to retail and small business clients.
• Solid understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, and basic credit concepts, with the ability to explain them clearly to customers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work with basic banking systems and office software, maintain accurate records, and handle documentation and KYC processes diligently.
• Results-driven mindset with basic sales and negotiation skills to support customer acquisition, cross-selling, and achievement of branch targets.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in retail banking, NBFCs, or financial services is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chandigarh, India, and collaborate effectively with branch and regional teams.
