About this role
- Operate assigned production machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform machine setup, changeover, and parameter adjustments as required.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality concerns.
- Maintain production records, downtime logs, and shift reports accurately.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and conduct in-process inspections.
- Follow safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and 5S workplace practices.
- Minimize material wastage and support productivity improvement initiatives.
- Assist maintenance and engineering teams during troubleshooting activities.
- Support Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
