Associate Producer

Role & responsibilities

• Research content and prepare basic scripts, content inputs and shooting ideas for Producer approval.
• Understand a brief and independently plan and execute shoots as required, ensuring the final footage meets the creative and technical requirement.
• Handle both indoor and outdoor shoots and coordinate with Camera, Editing, Writers, Artists, Agencies and other teams as required.
• Work closely with the Producer during production and ensure assigned tasks are completed within timelines and expected quality standards.
• Coordinate with post-production and have a practical understanding of editing workflows and requirements.
• Understand and communicate using standard TV production and technical terminology.
• Be willing to travel across India for shoots and assignments as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 - 5 years of experience in TV / Media / Video Production.
• Good understanding of television production, shooting and content development.
• Ability to shoot independently after receiving a brief and make practical decisions on location.
• Basic scripting, research and content development skills.
• Working knowledge of editing and post-production processes.
• Strong coordination, communication and execution skills.
• A proactive, responsible and quality-conscious approach to work.
