Associate Principal Engineer (Azure Kubernetes(Collibra DQ)

REQUIREMENT:

• We are hiring Azure Kubernetes Platform Engineer to support and maintain the enterprise Collibra Data Quality (DQ) Platform hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Networking, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Platform Operations, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Manage, administer, and troubleshoot AKS/Kubernetes environments supporting Collibra DQ Classic.
• Support Kubernetes resources including pods, services, ingress controllers, namespaces, RBAC, persistent storage, and Helm deployments.
• Investigate and resolve pod failures, resource bottlenecks, storage issues, cluster scheduling conflicts, and platform performance concerns.
• Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and operational health checks
• Support Azure networking components including VNets, VNet peering, private endpoints, DNS, and Infoblox integrations.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity between Collibra DQ services, databases, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
• Analyze network paths and resolve cross-platform communication issues impacting application performance.
• Administer Azure Key Vault, certificates, secrets, managed identities, and HSM-integrated security solutions.
• Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization controls across platform services.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Hands-on scripting experience using Bash and Python.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub, or GitHub Enterprise.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, LogicMonitor, Cribl, Sentinel, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the clients needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
