Job Summary
Role purpose Own endtoend architecture for the CBS News Datahub BigQuery knowledge graph semantic layer Looker and conversational analytics
Key Responsibilities
- Define target and phase architectures
- Validate service selection and integration patterns
- Design security IAM and environment dependencies within project boundaries
- Define NFR assumptions and design decisions
- Guide engineering teams
- Review canonical ontology LookML and Gemini integration designs
- Support architecture approvals
- Run discovery workshops
- Define personas and analytical journeys
- Baseline entitiestables with client owners
- Document user stories and definitions of done
- Manage requirement traceability
- Support semantic definitions
- Coordinate UAT readiness and signoff evidence
- Define business entities canonical structures and SilverGold data models aligned to CBS News analytical personas
