Seeking an Associate Principal with 12 to 16 years of experience specializing in Data Architecture Snowflake and Dimensional Data Modeling to lead and architect scalable data warehouse solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterpriselevel data architectures leveraging Snowflake platform
- Develop and optimize dimensional data models including star and snowflake schemas to support complex business intelligence and analytics needs
- Architect scalable and highperformance Snowflake data warehouse solutions ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust data models and architecture
- Drive best practices in data modeling data integration and data governance across projects
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in Snowflake architecture and data modeling to continuously innovate and improve solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data architects engineers and modelers within the team
- Own endtoend data architecture design and implementation for Snowflakebased data warehousing projects
- Develop and maintain dimensional data models to support analytical and reporting requirements
- Guide and review complex Snowflake SQL queries stored procedures and performance tuning
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and provide expert insights on data modeling and Snowflake architecture
- Ensure data quality validation and consistency through rigorous testing and governance
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with data engineers BI developers database administrators and business analysts
- Document data architecture standards processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing
- Mentor junior and midlevel team members fostering skill development and knowledge transfer
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex datarelated issues within Snowflake environments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and encourage adoption of innovative data architecture solutions
