About this role
Coordinate inbound vehicle scheduling, unloading, and material receiving activities.
Verify materials against PO, ASN, invoice, delivery challan, and other relevant documents.
Ensure GRN/system transactions are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
Coordinate quality inspection, quantity verification, and discrepancy resolution.
Ensure timely and accurate putaway of received materials in designated locations.
Monitor dock utilization, unloading time, receiving TAT, and putaway efficiency.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all inbound transactions.
Coordinate with Procurement, Transport, Quality, Inventory Control, and Operations teams for smooth material flow.
Identify and resolve inbound-related issues such as shortage, excess, damage, wrong material, and documentation discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, safety requirements, and warehouse standards.
Support inventory accuracy through proper material identification, segregation, and system updates.
Prepare and share daily/weekly MIS and inbound performance reports.
Participate in continuous improvement, Kaizen, and process optimization initiatives.
