Associate Operations Engineer

We are seeking an Associate Operations Engineer to serve as the L2 escalation layer within AI Engineering & Platform Operations. This role focuses on resolving complex operational issues, improving incident management, and transforming recurring manual tasks into AI-assisted, automated L1 workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex L1 incidents and operational issues.
• Manage non-standard operational tasks end-to-end while identifying opportunities for automation.
• Utilize AI-powered tools, AIOps platforms, and GenAI-enabled runbooks to improve incident resolution.
• Drive industrialization of recurring workflows by converting manual processes into AI-assisted self-service solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement automation initiatives.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Mentor L1 teams on AI tools, intelligent triage, and operational best practices.
• Support onboarding of new services and ensure they are AI-ready.
• Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report operational KPIs, focusing on automation adoption and reduction of manual effort.

Requirements:

• Experience in L1/L2 Operations, Incident Management, and Ticket Triage.
• Monitoring and observability tools: Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
• AI-driven ticket routing, triage, and operational workflows.
• Operational reporting and service management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Team coordination, stakeholder communication, and compliance awareness.

• Automation technologies: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform
• AI/ML and generative AI applications in IT operations.
• Documentation management and workflow automation.
