Associate Manager

Job Description :

• Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations within the plant environment ensuring high system availability and minimal downtime.
• Provide 24x7 operational support for plant IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, CCTV, access control, and industrial IT systems.
• Coordinate closely with plant operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure IT systems support uninterrupted production.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions for critical IT outages.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and audit requirements applicable to plant / industrial environments.
• Oversee vendor management, AMC coordination, and timely resolution of infrastructure and application issues.
• Plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance with minimal operational disruption.
• Maintain proper documentation, asset inventory, and disaster recovery readiness for plant IT systems.
• Lead and mentor onsite IT support team and ensure adherence to ITIL processes and service standards.

Key technical Skills required :

• Strong hands-on experience in plant / manufacturing IT operations or critical infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in networking (LAN/WAN), firewall, switching, and wireless infrastructure in industrial settings.
• Experience managing server environments (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of industrial IT systems such as SCADA, CCTV, access control, and OT network integration (preferred).
• Proven ability to handle critical incident management and uptime-sensitive environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under operational pressure.
• Experience in cybersecurity controls, patch management, and vulnerability management.
• Vendor coordination and contract management experience.
• Leadership capability to manage a small onsite IT team and coordinate with central IT teams.
• Good communication skills to interact with plant management and cross-functional teams.
