Associate Manager - SAP-SAP S4HANA EWM

Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – SAP S/4HANA EWM to join its S4 HANA Functional – Delivery team. The role involves leading full‑cycle EWM implementations on S/4HANA, configuring warehouse processes, integrating with core SAP modules, and delivering post‑go‑live support across Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Noida.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EWM implementation phases (Blueprint, Realization, Testing, Cutover, Go‑Live) on S/4HANA.
• Configure inbound/outbound processing, putaway, picking, storage types, and warehouse structures.
• Design and optimize warehouse orders, waves, and yard management solutions.
• Integrate EWM with SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM modules, including Embedded and Decentralized scenarios.
• Set up and maintain EWM master data such as products, packaging specs, handling units, work centers, and resources.
• Manage IDocs, RF framework, labor management, and MFS where applicable.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams for custom enhancements.
• Support unit, integration, and UAT testing activities and drive defect resolution.
• Provide post‑go‑live stabilization and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the delivery team.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP EWM experience with a focus on S/4HANA.
• Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations on S/4HANA.
• Strong functional and configuration expertise in inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse layout optimization.
• Proven experience with Embedded EWM (mandatory) and knowledge of Decentralized EWM.
• Deep understanding of handling units, RF transactions, and warehouse master data.
• Hands‑on experience with IDocs, RF framework, labor management, and MFS.
• Ability to create functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for testing, defect management, and post‑go‑live support.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, or Noida as required.
