About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and certify contractor RA (Running Account) Bills, Final Bills, and Variation Claims in line with contract provisions and project requirements.
- Verify measurements and quantities against approved BOQs, construction drawings, specifications, and site records.
- Prepare BOQs from project drawings and technical documents.
- Derive quantities from drawings and carry out detailed quantity take-offs for various civil works.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation statements and monitor quantity consumption against approved BOQs.
- Evaluate and process change orders, extra items, deviation statements, and variation claims.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, site teams, and internal stakeholders for timely verification and processing of bills.
- Monitor contract quantities, project budgets, cost utilization, and financial progress of ongoing projects.
- Maintain billing records, payment trackers, supporting documentation, and contract records.
- Prepare MIS reports, billing status reports, quantity reconciliation statements, cost reports, and other project-related reports.
- Track approved variations, pending claims, balance quantities, contract status, and submit periodic updates to management.
- Maintain and manage contract documents, amendments, EOTs (Extension of Time), approvals, correspondence, and closure records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support contract administration and ensure adherence to contractual and commercial obligations.
- Assist in project cost control, forecasting, and budget monitoring activities.
- Strong knowledge of Billing & Quantity Surveying practices.
- Expertise in verification of RA Bills, Final Bills, Change Orders, and Variation Claims.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and quantity reconciliation.
- Good understanding of contract management and commercial documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and billing/MIS reporting tools.
- Effective stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, airport, industrial, commercial, real estate, or EPC projects.
- Exposure to contract administration, cost control, and project budgeting.
- Familiarity with FIDIC/contract conditions, variation management, and claims evaluation will be an added advantage.
