About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate with CompanySecretary and Legal qualifications to join our team in Mumbai.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing corporate governance matters, and providing legal advice and support to the team. This role requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll own:
- Handling day-to-day secretarial and corporate compliance activities.
- Managing statutory and regulatory filings and ensuring timely compliance with applicable regulations.
- Preparing agendas, notices, minutes and other documentation for Board and Committee meetings.
- Maintaining statutory records, registers and other corporate secretarial documentation.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders, regulators, auditors and external consultants, as required.
- Supporting corporate actions and other secretarial matters.
- Assisting with IPO-related activities and compliances, including coordination and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable provisions under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with 57 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in corporate secretarial and compliance functions.
- IPO exposure is preferred and will be an important advantage.
- Candidates with a broking / capital markets / financial services background will be preferred.
- Good understanding of SEBI regulations and corporate governance requirements.
- Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills
