Job Purpose:The Cluster Manager - IPQA - I&W Quality will be responsible for leading and managing the IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) team, ensuring health and safety compliance, driving customer satisfaction, achieving business excellence, and fostering continuous improvement in production quality. The role involves overseeing audits, implementing systems for quality control, and driving operational efficiency to meet both internal and external quality standards.

Responsibilities

Health & Safety:

• Oversee health and safety compliance across multiple teams involved in ingot and wafer quality. Implement safety training programs and ensure all quality processes adhere to health and safety regulations.
  
  

Customer Satisfaction

• Respond promptly to Voice of Customer (VOC) complaints and ensure timely Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and countermeasures. Maintain fewer than one complaint per quarter.
  
  

Business Excellence

• Achieve IMS certification for MSTL plant by reviewing and preparing documentation. Conduct IMS awareness and internal auditor certification training. Complete Stage-1 & Stage-2 IMS certification audits.
  
  

Quality Control & System

• Implement the MES system for product traceability with zero errors. Ensure the smooth operation and proper functioning of the system.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Initiate at least two Quality Circle activities every year to encourage continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• B.E or B.Tech degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
  
  

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

• 8-12 years in manufacturing operations, with emphasis on in-process quality assurance.
